Driving Directions
Drive I-5 south to Exit 243 for Ankeny Hill. Go right on Ankeny Hill Road at the Stop sign.
After 0.2 miles, keep straight (left) at a Stop sign to join Wintel Road.
Continue on Wintel Road for 2.2 miles.
After entering the Ankeny National Wildlife Refuge, turn left for the Rail Trail Boardwalk and Observation Blind. Drive 0.1 miles on gravel to the parking area at the trailhead.

- No pets allowed
- Boardwalks open all year; other trails closed October 1st to March 31st
