Description
Rattlesnake Creek makes a scenic 90-foot plunge here into a box canyon. You can hike the rim on both sides of the canyon to get excellent views back to the falls. The creek above the falls is an easy ford and the shady glades near here are home to Brown's peonies (Paeonia brownii) and other wildflowers.
A seasonal tributary also splashes into the box canyon. Rattlesnake Falls is best visited before June as the creek begins to run dry in the summer.
