Rocky Top

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Rocky Top from the approach road (bobcat)

Description

This exposed summit in the Old Cascades once hosted a lookout. The views from here extend from the Washington volcanoes, Mount Hood, and Battle Ax to the Three Sisters, with Mount Jefferson looming large. The Willamette Valley and Coast Range are visible to the west.

Rocky Top Lookout was erected in 1936 and used until 1963.
