Fees and Regulations

  • Tom Mc Call Point Trail closed November 1st through February 28th/29th
  • No passes required. There is a donation box at the trailhead.
  • Dogs, bikes and horses are prohibited on trails
  • No campfires, camping, flower picking or walking off the trails.

Driving Directions

From I-84 eastbound, take Exit 69 for Mosier and Historic Highway 30.

After exiting, take a right on Highway 30, drive 6.7 miles, bearing right through the town of Mosier and winding up through cherry orchards and fields on the Old Gorge Highway until you reach Rowena Crest.

You can park on the viewpoint loop to the right or use a pullout on the left side of the highway near a stile.

Other Notes

Dogs are not allowed in the nature preserve here and unfortunately there is no shade, so they can't be left in the car.
