Hike Description

This is an easy mile long stroll through former farm fields.

From the trailhead, walk the well-graveled trail through an abandoned field. When you come to a fork, take the right route. The easy trail weaves its way through a couple of fields to a sign describing planned restorative actions. From here, the trail heads straight south toward the river.

You'll find an old, moss-encrusted bench near the river and a picnic table that's in much better shape. As the trail works it's way just above the floodplain, look for use paths down to the river. There are really pretty, if windy views of the river and the Oregon side of the Gorge.

Follow the trail back the your car.
