Driving Directions
The Tamanawas Falls Trailhead is located along Highway 35, just north of Sherwood Campground near Milepost 72. The trailhead is located adjacent to a large gravel parking area on the shoulder of Highway 35. There is a restroom here.
From the last traffic light in Sandy, just past the ARCO station, drive 30.9 miles, passing through Government Camp, and exit right onto Highway 35 for Hood River.
Drive 15.4 miles; after passing the Sherwood Campground, turn left into the parking area at the Tamanawas Falls Trailhead.
Fees, Regulations, etc.
- $5 day pass, Northwest Forest Pass, or Interagency Pass required from May 15th to October 1st.
- Restrooms, picnic tables, information kiosk
