Description

Silcox Hut was built a long time ago (1930s?) as a warming hut for people climbing Mount Hood. It is a stone shelter of the style typical for that period. More recently, a newer structure was built to service the ski area (?).

You can walk up to the hut from Timberline Lodge or take the Magic Mile ski lift (Timberline Lodge Hikes).
