Description

This trail junction is located on a saddle near the summit of Silver Star. Several trails connect with about 1/10 of a mile going in all directions. The Silver Star Trail (#180) head north to the Silver Star Trailhead and south to the South Silver Star Trailhead. Ed's Trail (#180A) provides an alternative route north. The Bluff Mountain Trail (#172) heads to the east toward Little Baldy and Bluff Mountain. A spur trail heads up to the summit. South of the summit trail the Sturgeon Stairway Trail heads westerly, and across from it the Indian Pit Trail (#180E) heads southeastward to the Silver Star Indian Pits.
