Talk:Eagle Creek to Punch Bowl Falls Hike

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Jeff, I've fixed the trail logs to match this list we talked about for waypoints. For instance, even though it still lists Metlako Falls at Mile 1.5 and Sorenson Creek at Mile 1.6, both links now point to the Metlako Falls page.

  • Eagle Creek Trailhead
  • Metlako Falls (w mention of Sorenson Creek and Sorenson Falls)
  • Punchbowl Falls (mention of the Junction, side trail, Lower Punchbowl Falls, Punchbowl Falls Overlook)
  • Tish Creek Bridge (w mention of Fern Creek Bridge)
  • Loowit Falls (w mention of High Bridge Falls)
  • High Bridge
  • Tenas Camp (w mention of Skoonichuck Falls)
  • Four and a Half Mile Bridge (w mention of Opal Creek Falls)
  • Wyeast Camp (w mention of Wyeast Creek, Wyeast Falls & Wilderness Boundary)
  • Eagle-Benson Trail Junction
  • Blue Grouse Camp (w Mention of Blue Grouse Falls)
  • The Potholes
  • Tunnel Falls
  • Vertigo Mile
  • Twister Falls (redirects from CrissCross Falls, Crossover Falls & Eagle Creek Falls)
  • Eagle-Tanner Trail Junction
  • Inspiration Point
  • Indian Springs Trail Junction
  • Chinidere Mountain Trail Junction
  • Eagle Creek-Crest Trail Junction

I'll leave the creative work on these to you. If you want to change anything on the list feel free, we'll just need to tweak the trail log link.

If you want me to help on anything, just scream.

Looks great Steve. How do we want to settle on the spelling of Wy-East? "Wy'East" "WyEast" or "Wy-East"?

Looks like the common way is Wy'east, if the wiki will handle the apostrophe. I know an ampersand kills it. If it won't handle the apostrophe, I suppose Wyeast would be our next bet. Stevefromdodge 20:31, 9 January 2007 (MST)
