Talk:Timothy Lake Loop Hike

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

(Redirected from Talk:Timothy Lake Hike)

i would call this difficult due to length... what do you guys think?? moderate on this site is usually under 6-8 miles. even though this hike is fairly level, i think i would call it difficult.

Hi Jamey,

This is not a difficult hike, but it is long. I think calling it difficult would be misleading. Most people will probably not hike the whole loop. I imagine that Jerry's guide will provide a guide around the complete lake loop with all the options available for shorter trips.

I have run the whole loop and it was technically an easy run, but challenging because of the lenngth and altitude. I have also hiked on out and back portions that were very easy.

Be patient grasshopper,
