Description
Trail junction on the Tanner Butte Trail #401 with the unmaintained Wauna Point Trail which heads north from here, dropping down to Wauna Point. If it seems Tanner Butte Trail receives little maintenance, Wauna Point Trail gets even less! This is where the Tanner Butte Trail reaches the top of the ridge separating Tanner Creek from Eagle Creek.
There's a small campsite, right at the junction. There's a seasonal drinking water stream just below (southwest) on the Tanner Butte Trail. The Wauna Point Trail also intersects this stream.
