Third Beach

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Third Beach is a nice sandy beach. (Jerry Adams)

Description

Third Beach is 1.3 miles from the Third Beach Trailhead.

Third Beach is the Third Beach from La Push. It's about one mile of sandy beach. You can walk on it at any tide. There can be quite a few people, especially where the trail meets the beach. This would make a nice day hike.

Where the trail meets the beach, there's a stream and a couple campsites. You can camp on the beach, but there are sometimes large waves that could wash over you. It's better to camp a little higher up.
