Tolmie Peak Lookout

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Tolmie Peak Lookout above Eunice Lake (bobcat)

Description

The view to Mount Rainier is spectacular from this National Park Service lookout, which was constructed in the 1930s. You can also look straight across to Mt. Howard, east to Tolmie Peak, and down the Carbon River valley and take in Mount Saint Helens, Mount Baker and Glacier Peak among the jumbled summits of the North Cascades. The lookout is staffed on weekends in the summer but is otherwise closed. Camping is not permitted in the vicinity of the lookout.
