Description
This observation deck, under a wide spreading oak tree, affords a vista over the shallow wetlands of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. Pintails, ring-necked ducks, teals, and mallards are common here in the winter, but also look for egrets, herons and bald eagles. Woodpeckers, warblers, and other perching birds can be observed at other seasons. Information panels detail some of the wildlife.
A photo blind near the observation can be used if you give advance notice.
