Driving Directions
Drive Highway 26 east to Sandy.
From the last traffic light in Sandy, go 30.9 miles through Government Camp and exit right for Highway 35 and Hood River.
Go 4.8 miles and, right after the White River Bridge, turn right onto FR 48 for Rock Creek Reservoir and Wamic.
Drive 6.5 miles and park on the right where the Bonney Meadows Trail crosses the road. There is space for two or three cars.
Note: If you are driving too fast or not paying attention, you may miss the trail crossing of FR 48. There are no signs for it. Pay attention to the directions above.
