Description

This junction is on the ridge crest near the meeting of the high ridges above the Welcome Lakes, the Mother Lode Basin, and the Dickey Creek Basin. It's about a mile to Big Slide Lake, first on the Schreiner Peak Trail and then the Dickey Creek Trail. The Welcome Lakes Trail runs from here up to the Bull of the Woods Lookout in just under a mile.
