Bluegrass Ridge-Bluegrass Tie Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The cairn at the junction with the tie trail on Bluegrass Ridge (bobcat)

Description

This area was scorched by the 2006 Bluegrass Ridge Burn. Although signs remained here for many years after the fire, they have now disappeared. Only a cairn marks the junction. The Bluegrass Tie Trail #647B was completely logged out in August 2023 by Trailkeepers of Oregon.

If you have arrived here by struggling along the Bluegrass Ridge Trail from Cold Spring Creek, then you have survived the worst of the blowdown and the rest of the hike is pure gravy.
