Lava Canyon Loop Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The junction for the former loop in upper Lava Canyon (bobcat)

Description

The Lava Canyon Trail stays on the west side of the Muddy River Canyon, but a trail that was once part of the loop takes you a short distance down the east side. Now that the Lava Canyon Suspension Bridge has been closed because of a damaged cable, you'll have to return to the junction if you venture down the east side.
