Boulder Lake

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Boulder Lake from the south shore (bobcat)

Description

Boulder Lake, nestled below a scree slope half a mile from the Boulder Lake Trailhead is a prime destination for the water-loving crowd on hot summer weekends. It is much quieter early in the season and in the fall. A loop trail passes around the lake and walk-in campsites are dispersed through the trees. For a calmer experience in the summer, try Little Boulder Lake, over a low ridge to the south.

There is great huckleberry harvesting in the area and the lake is stocked with rainbow trout.
